Frequently asked questions
Why is my contract note slightly different?
Brokers round charges per order, may charge additional fees (such as call & trade or auto square-off charges), and BSE rates differ slightly from NSE. Use this calculator as a close estimate.
Are options charges calculated on the premium?
Yes. For options, STT, exchange charges and stamp duty are calculated on the premium value (premium × quantity), not the contract value.
